Breazu Hill – Munteni Copou Church

The Breazu Hill (no. 6) is mostly covered by forests, with paths inviting to pleasant walks and mountain biking. In the middle of the forest, in a peaceful surrounding there stands a famous restaurant named “At the Castle”, where various gastronomic events are organized. A panoramic lawn looking towards the North is the ideal summer destination for picnics and a great winter choice for sleighing. From there a cycling lane leads all the way down to the city centre. The wooden Munteni-Copou Church attracts by its unusual shape, an architectural and social experiment for the local community. Down the hill, on the left side stands the impressive “Vasile Lupu” Pedagogical High-School, hidden in a dendrological park, and on the right there is the Restaurant ”Water Tower”, which revives the atmosphere of long ago Iași.
