Zona de Agrement Ciric, Iași, România
Paths used by hikers and bikers cross over the Ciric forest, also grooved by the Ciric River, a small affluent of Bahlui. Five artificial lakes are found along the forest. Starting from upstream, in the far North, the Dorobanț lake is the largest and is often used for canoeing, followed by Aroneanu, known for the fishing spots. The lakes Ciric I and Ciric II were created in 1968 for open-air activities and the last project has revitalised its use through hydro-cycles, an adventure park, swimming pools, an artificial beach, tennis courts, pick-nick equipment, new parkings, tele-chair, and more. Southernmost is Veneția lake, which is a wilder place, ideal for birdwatching, at the end of which the park Tiki Village was arranged, with an amazing floating swimming-pool, unique in Romania.
